Where is Lost Pond located?

We’re an outdoor wedding venue located in Penrose, Colorado just 35 minutes southwest of Colorado Springs, 25 minutes west of Pueblo, and 15 minutes East of Canon City, surrounded by mountain views, a peaceful pond, and a flowing stream.

What is your venue capacity?

We can host up to 150 guests comfortably for outdoor ceremony and reception spaces.

Is there on-site parking?

Yes! We offer parking on site, including closer parking options for guests with mobility needs.

What does your pricing start at?

Our Colorado wedding venue pricing begins at $3,500 for both the wedding ceremony and reception. This pricing is our “under-construction” special. This price will not stay this low for long.

Where are the ceremony and reception located?

Ceremony: Outdoors by the water
Reception: Enjoy an outdoor celebration under the Colorado sky with fireflies dancing along to your music

What is included in the venue rental?

Your rental includes full-day access from 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM to all event spaces:

  • Outdoor ceremony space by the water

  • Cocktail hour area including rustic cocktail tables.

  • Outdoor reception space

  • Silo gazebo dance floor

  • Venue coordination + planning sessions

  • Tables, chairs, and tablecloths

  • Table and chair set up and tear-down provided by Lost Pond

  • Permanent bar and buffet structures

  • Rehearsal time included

  • Vintage Camper Bridal Suite

  • Awnings to protect guests from the sun and for comfort

  • Clean, portable, handicap accessible rest rooms. (Coming soon: Luxury flushing restrooms.)

Is your venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes. We want everyone to feel comfortable here.

  • All main paths are wheelchair-friendly

  • My mom has tested them in her chair to be sure!

  • Priority parking for those who need a shorter distance

Are pets allowed at your wedding venue?

Absolutely — pets are family!
Dogs, cats, horses, alpacas, even mini pigs have joined celebrations here.
(We may draw the line at pet tigers for insurance reasons)

Can we bring our own vendors and alcohol?

Yes — you have full vendor freedom!

  • Bring any licensed caterer you love

  • Alcohol permitted and BYOB is welcome

  • Food trucks allowed and encouraged

  • You get to create your perfect day your way.


Do we need event insurance?

Yes, we do require event liability insurance — typically around $150 — to give you peace of mind.

We also strongly suggest cancelation insurance for any curveballs life may throw at you.

Do you offer a military discount?

Yes. We proudly offer a 10% discount for active-duty US military members.
